Abstract

Three cases of ameloblastoma of the mandible - unicystic, multicystic, and malignant - are presented. Computed tomography (CT) may play an important role in delineating the extent of these tumors, which require extensive radical surgery. The cystic component of these lesions is well demonstrated by CT and suggestive of the diagnosis.
