Abstract
A case of a mobile vitreous cyst occurring in an asymptomatic five-year-old child is presented. A review of the literature shows this to be an uncommon finding best explained as a remnant of the primary vitreous. The authors believe the patient in this case to be the youngest reported, and support the congenital, nonpathologic nature of the cyst.
