Constructing the solid representation from engineering projections

Abstract

A method of interest when creating a solid model in the computer is to construct the solid data from engineering projections. This paper presents that construction process as a problem of heuristic search to find a set of consistent constraints to the solution space and shows results of applying the method to bodies with plane and cylindrical faces.
