Abstract
On the basis of certain concepts of the nature of the mechanicochemical effect, a method of estimating the stress-corrosion susceptibility of alloys from data on their exoelectron emission parameters was postulated. The method was verified by tests on iron-nickel alloys with various nickel contents.
