## Abstract

After this paper was published the authors found several errors in the article. In Table 1, the

operational cost of the Nuclear Engineering Department is 205,800 (not 2,005,800). In Table 5, the

discriminant analyses score of the Bible Department should be negative (-0.8957), not positive. On

p. 552, second paragraph, second line we wrote that the zero score of the discriminant analysis is the dividing line between efficient and inefficient units. This is not correct. The critical value of the score is not necessarily zero; it is the average between the two group centroids. The centroid (average score) of the efficient departments in Table 5 is 1.6473 and the centroid of the inefficient departments is -1.0982. Thus the average between the two groups is 0.5491; any department with a higher score than 0.5491 is designated as efficient by the discriminant analysis, and departments with a score less than 0.5491 are designated as inefficient.
