Abstract

The authors regret a minor typing error slipped past the editing process, which unfortunately has important biological significance. In the 4th sentence of the second section, it is supposed to say the “Labyrinthulomycota […] lack a plastid…” however, the letter “t” in the word plastid was mistakenly replaced with the letter “m” to read the word “plasmid”. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
