Abstract

The authors regret that they mistakenly cited the work Nawijn, J. (2016). Positive psychology in tourism: A critique. Annals of Tourism Research, 56, 151–153. The authors would like to correct the statement on page 6 of the discussion as follows. “Nawijn (2016) claimed that negative emotions are evolutionary leftovers which are essential to tackle life-threatening scenarios.” should read: Nawijn (2016) rejected the idea that negative emotions are simply evolutionary leftovers intended only to deal with life-threatening scenarios. Also, the in text citation on page 1 of Nawijn, Brüggermann, and Mitas (2017) has a spelling error. The correct citation is Nawijn, Brüggemann, and Mitas (2017). The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
