Abstract

The authors regret the image quality issues and have replaced with better clarity ones. Fig. 4c: In EB/AO staining condition Dark +25μg/ml has been changed. Fig. 5b: In NR staining condition Dark control has been changed. Fig. 7a Photomicronuclei formation in conditions Dark control and Dark +25μg/ml have been changed. The corrected images have been appropriately incorporated. These mistakes do not change the scientific conclusion of the article in any way. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. [Figure presented] Fig 4 (c) EB/AO staining of MP (25 μg/ml) treated cells under UVB (1.08 J/cm2) exposure. Dark control and MP alone showed live cells (green fluorescence) while, MP under UVB exposed cells showed apoptotic (bright orange) cells. (Scale bar = 25 μm). [Figure presented] Fig 5(b) Effect of photosensitized MP (25 μg/ml) on lysosomal membrane integrity by NR dye, viable cells retain lysosomal dye compared to treated cells (Scale bar = 25 μm). [Figure presented] Fig. 7. Photogenotoxicity assessment of MP. (a) Photomicronuclei formation by photosensitized MP (25 μg/ml) under UVB (1.08 J/cm2) irradiation. (Scale bar = 25 μm).
