Abstract

Next exact solutions of the Einstein-massless scalar field equations are presented. The solutions describe inhomogeneous universes with S³ topology. They include, as particular homogeneous cases, the familiar Taub universe and the Bianchi type IX models with a stiff irrotational fluid.
