Abstract

The citric acid-water system was analyzed and the cryoscopic measurements of this mixture were taken. The osmotic and activity coefficients at frezing point temperatures were evaluated by integration of the Gibbs-Duhem equation. The freezing point depressions of aqueous solutions of citric acid in the concentration range from 0.00066 mol·kg-1 to 4.5 mol·kg-1 were determined.
