Abstract

▸ A new concept to cyber protection of critical mechanical rotating machines by a mechanical fuse was presented. ▸ The requirements for the fuse bearing were defined. ▸ Analytical model: ○ Dynamic behavior of the rotating machine. ○ Two bearing life estimation models. ○ Analysis of the effect of different transfer functions and attack scenarios. ▸ Endurance tests: ○ First indicator-Early faults detection. ○ Second indicator- relative error of the graph.
