Abstract

In the title molecular salt, C₃H₈N ⁺·C₇H₄IO₂^-, the cyclo-propanaminium cation forms three hydrogen bonds to the 4-iodobenzoate anion, forming two unique repeating R₄⁴(12) hydrogen-bonding rings that result in one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded columns along the crystallographic c axis.
