Abstract

In the title molecular salt, C3H8N +·C7H4IO2-, the cyclo-propanaminium cation forms three hydrogen bonds to the 4-iodobenzoate anion, forming two unique repeating R44(12) hydrogen-bonding rings that result in one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded columns along the crystallographic c axis.
