Abstract

Let (Formula Presented) be a homogeneous space (Formula Presented) of a real reductive Lie group (Formula Presented) with a reductive subgroup (Formula Presented). The investigation concerns the quantitative decay of matrix coefficients on (Formula Presented) under the assumption that (Formula Presented) is of spherical type, that is, minimal parabolic subgroups have open orbits on (Formula Presented).
