Abstract

Recently it was proposed by Anderson, Muttalib and Ramakrishnan that the decrease of T//c with disorder in A-15 compounds can be attributed to an enhancement of the effective Coulomb repulsion, resulting from localization. We propose that the enhanced Coulomb repulsion can also be related to the quasi-one-dimensional nature of the A-15 compounds.
