Abstract
A detailed design of a special purpose single instruction microcomputer is presented. Several design options for the control realization were compared. The hardwired realization was chosen. Subsequently, a number of general design considerations is posed and the detailed design is carried out accordingly. A prototype of a microcomputer has been constructed and tested in the laboratory, following the above design.
