Abstract

Direct measurements of the valence quark momentum distribution in the pion were carried out. Above k_t ∼ 1.5 GeV/c, the distribution matched the asymptotic light-cone wave function. Both the x and k_t distributions were found to be consistent with pQCD expectations.
