Abstract

Part III provides a comprehensive overview of practice social work and practice teaching in social work and the relationships between different power dynamics related to practice agency, practice settings, and supervisor-student relations in practice learning and practice education. It is very well known that social and political action are at the core of the social work profession, and social workers practicing policy advocacy and policy activism apply the skills, knowledge, and experience that they have gained from their professional social work training. It is also important that social work training across the globe aims to educate, prepare, and sensitize graduates for their role in bringing about social change and transformation in a modernized, business-oriented, and technology-driven human society.
