Discrete Nonlinear X-Waves in Waveguide Arrays

Abstract

We present experimental evidence for the formation of nonlinear X-waves in AlGaAs waveguide arrays. These results agree with numerical simulations based on the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation with an appropriate temporal dispersion term.
