note = "Funding Information: In 1980, in order to promote the introduction of industrial robots in small-and medium-sized companies, the Japanese government established the Japan Robot Leasing Co.; offered financial assistance through the Small Business Finance Corporation and the People's Finance Corporation for the introduction of robots designed to ensure safety; and created a special depreciation system for high performance robots provided with computers. Local government also introduced loans and leasing programs for enterprises to modernize equipment. Since 1984, special interest rates have been provided for loans from the Japan Development Bank to the Japan Robot Leasing Co. for the introduction of Flexible Manufacturing Systems. Besides receiving loans, small and medium enterprises also get counseling and guidance from the Small Enterprise Guidance Officer System. These officers also visit business sites and serve as intermediaries between the enterprise and public agencies. The Mechatronics Investment Promotion Tax System enables small enterprises who introduce electronic devices to have special deductions on corporate taxes.",
