Abstract

Presents a study which examined the effect of goal difficulty on performance of aerobic, anaerobic and power tasks in both laboratory and field settings. Use of goal setting as a motivational strategy; Effects of unrealistic goals on performance; Lack of significant differences between males and females in the relationship between goals and performance.
