Abstract
The influence of internal potential relief, formed by the inhomogeneous distribution of impurities in doped piezosemiconductors, upon their acoustic properties was studied. The analysis of the obtained equations was conducted for the limiting cases of weak and high inhomogeneities. It was predicted that weak inhomogeneities suppress the manifestation of electron-phonon interaction in sound attenuation. In high-doped compensated crystals specific sound attenuation is predicted, which may be used for experimental determination of electron concentration in drops.
