N2 - The Single-Valued Ambiguous Set referred by "SVAS"come into picture to addresses ambiguity, in more general and accurate manner as compare to fuzzy set theory (FST). The SVAS theory use four alternative degrees of membership - true, false, ambiguous-true, and ambiguous-false categories - to describe any attribute. This kind of representation facilitates the process of effectively modelling uncertainty and allows for the depiction of features in great detail. First, the distance measurements of a SVAS are provided in this paper. Next, the categorization of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDSs) is subjected to this suggested distance metric. To validate the suggested outcomes, the collected results are compared with a few of the previous research. This study is novel in that it presents the distance measures in the SVAS domain and then uses EDSs classification to practically implement the distance measures. The comparative result validates the results obtained in the SVAS domain.
