Electroconvective mechanisms in concentration polarization at electrodialysis membranes

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In this chapter we review electroconvection in strong electrolytes. This term pertains to a complex of phenomena which were invoked and described theoretically to a certain degree, to explain the overlimiting conductance through cation-exchange electrodialysis membranes (see Chap. 15).
