Abstract
Multisite energy transfer from Cr3+ to Tm3+ was studied using low-temperature high-resolution laser spectroscopy. Selective excitation routes for Tm3+ sites were demonstrated using excitation and emission spectroscopy, and were confirmed by lifetime measurements.
