Abstract

The conditions for attainment of high enrichment and complete recovery of trace amounts of HT in hydrogen gas by elution gas chromatography were determined. The applicability of this technique to high precision tritium pre-enrichment for low level counting is discussed. Various experimental schemes for carrying out these separations are proposed and some of their advantages and shortcoming pointed out.
