Experimental correction of the axial shielding equation

Abstract

The experimental correction of the axial shielding equation was investigated. The permeability of the shielding material was controlled by magnetic shaking at a number of levels. It was found that the experimental verifications could be accurate only for relatively long shields for which the effect of the openings could be neglected.
