Abstract

New particulate bianisotropic composites - the magnetostatically controlled bianisotropic materials (MCBMs) - recently have been conceptualized. It becomes clear, however, that the theoretical questions raised in recent publications may be considered as interesting as such, but not very relevant as long as experimental validation or at least some proof of principle is missing. This paper gives the first experimental evidence of magnetoelectric coupling in a ferromagnetic resonator with a special form of surface metallization - a structural element of the proposed MCBMs.
