Abstract
A review of methods of experimental research on the dynamics of electrical contacts is presented, and the imperfections of these methods are described. A method of measuring contact motion is developed, and experimental data of the contact operation without load and under load are obtained. The influence of the parameters of the mechanical system on these contact dynamics (values and number of vibrations, influence of electromagnet, etc.) are obtained and presented.
