Abstract

Experimental study of a method, combining the Fisher and Fukunaga-Koontz transformation, is done. The results of series of numerical experiments are presented. A comparison to other linear mapping methods is done. The advantages and possibilities of the method in solving practical pattern recognition problems are discussed.
