Further experimental evidence has been obtained on the existence of reversed turbulent energy cascades in duct flows subjected to magnetic fields. Turbulence intensity and energy spectra were investigated experimentally in mercury flows in a 2 multiplied by 4. 8-cm**2 rectangular cross-section duct placed into a transverse magnetic field. Velocity fluctuations were measured by means of a quartz-coated hot film probe at Re equals 78. 5 multiplied by 10**3, Re equals 63 multiplied by 10**3, and 0 less than Ha less than 785. Changes of structure and energy transfer mechanisms are discussed.
