N2 - The purpose of this study is to identify regional and urban factors effecting police station efficiency in Israel. At the first stage, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used to measure the efficiency of 60 police stations, based on 2 inputs and 16 outputs, including some logistic parameters. At the second stage, multiple-regression is performed to verify the effect of various regional and urban factors on the efficiency. Two factors were significant: number of vehicles belonging to the population in the jurisdiction area of the station, and the southern region.
