    Abstract

A novel nondestructive and long-lasting in vivo delivery system for foliar nutrients, Ferti-Vant, is studied. The behavior of Ferti-Vant in leaf surface interaction duration of nutrient absorption, toxicity and biodegradability were also compared with the action of common alternative systems. The results showed that the Ferti-Vant produced a unique effect of coated nutrients spreading and adhering to citrus leaves.
