Abstract

Firmato is a firewall management toolkit with several distinguishing properties and components. Demonstration of Firmato's capabilities on a realistic example shows that firewall management can be done successfully at an appropriate level of abstraction. Overall, Firmato is considered as an important step towards streamlining the process of configuring and managing firewalls.
