Abstract

Phenyl- and diphenylphosphines add to 2,6-dimethyl-2-vinyl-1,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctane upon the action of UV irradiation to form 2,6-dimethyl-2-[(2-phenylphosphino)ethyl)]-1,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctane and 2,6-dimethyl-2-[(2-diphenylphosphino)ethyl]-1,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctane, respectively.
