Abstract

Upon completion of this instructive module, the student should be able to: extend the concept of the fugacity of a pure substance to a component of mixture; calculate the fugacity of a component of a multicomponent mixture; appreciate the significance of the various degrees of sophistication with which the fugacity of a component of a mixture can be calculated; and understand the mixing law for fugacities.
