Abstract
In a recent paper it has been shown that the gravitational and electromagnetic fields can be combined into a unified gauge theory invariant under the group SL 2, C ⊗U 1. In this article we extend this generalization by allowing for the presence of magnetic-monopole fields resulting in a theory invariant under the gauge group SL 2, C ⊗U 1⊗U 1.
