Generation of Squeezed Light from Non-Degenerate Backwards Four-Wave Mixing in Warm Rubidium

Abstract

We report the generation of squeezed light from phase conjugation using backwards four-wave mixing in warm rubidium vapor. We observe a squeezing bandwidth of ~3MHz and achieve 1dB of intensity difference squeezing at 1MHz.
