Abstract

An attempt was made to analytically study the spectrum based on double resonance spectroscopy according to which the R2PI spectrum consists of overlapping spectra of three different tautomers of guanine. By using chemical substitution and comparison with IR-UV data and ab initio calculations, it was possible to assign the spectra to the 9H-Enol and 9H- and 7H-Keto tautomers of guanine.
