H and D release in ∼243.1 nm photolysis of vibrationally excited 3v1, 4v1, and 4vCD overtones of propyne-d 3

An investigation of the photodissociation of vibrationally excited propyne-d3 with combined energies of 49 845, 50 810, and 53 880 cm-1 was presented. The energies were found to be slightly below and above the energy of 193.3 nm photons, 51 730 cm-1 used for photodissociation of propyne isotopomers. It was also found that the action spectra of the acetylenic C-H stretched together with the PA spectra, which allowed retrieving of the molecular constants and the line widths of the K components. It was suggested that the 15-18 translational energy disposal was a result of a fragmentation process preceded by IC to the ground state PES.
