Abstract
Using the weighted least-squares fit of the curve count rate versus time, we have measured the half-life of Dy**1**6**5 and found its value to be 140. 02 plus or minus 0. 36 min. This value was checked by measurements of thermal-neutron flux using a dysprosium foil, assuming a number of values of T//1/////2 clustered around the previously determined value.
