HARDWARE REALIZATION OF A DISTRIBUTED PROCESSING NETWORK USING CMOVE ARCHITECTURE.

Abstract

The proposed installation is applied to a network of distributed processing elements. It can be implemented in industrial process control, traffic control and other types of sytems. A definite hardware realization scheme for a CMOVE processor is proposed. This scheme is then expanded into a distributed network of I/O processors, coordinated by the main processor, mentioned above. At the moment, bit-sliced realization, using AMD2900 equipment, is contemplated for laboratory experimentation purposes.
