Abstract

A simple method to obtain the Fourier coefficients of cycloconverter output voltage is presented. The theoretical part of the method is proved. Applications of the method are shown for two cases: 1) when the output frequency of the cycloconverter voltage is lower than the ac source frequency, and 2) when the output frequency is higher than the source frequency.
