Abstract
A case of hemangioendothelioma in the mastoid bone and ear is presented. This tumor is very rare in the skull and has never been reported in the ear. The presenting symptoms were purulent discharge and loss of hearing in the involved ear. Excision of the tumor was followed by irradiation, and the patient is well and free from disease three years postoperatively.
