Abstract

We report the case of an 18-year-old Bedouin, suffering from hereditary spherocytosis, associated with leg ulcers. The ulcers were unresponsive to treatment of 6 months' duration with various conservative modalities. However, complete clearance was achieved two months after splenectomy.
