Abstract

Loving kiss of death: A highly efficient and chemoselective method for ubiquitylation of peptides using δ-mercaptolysine to assist isopeptide formation between the ε-NH₂ of the lysine residue and the activated C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin (Ub) is presented.
