    Abstract

In this work we present two novel algorithms for voicing estimation in speech and music signals. We compare these methods to existing methods that us complex correlation of short time spectra. Frequency voicing cutoff is suggested as a simplification of the multi-band voicing procedure. Effects of phase and frequency uncoupling on the voicing estimates are investigated.
