Abstract

In this work we consider a power loading algorithm while taking into account the influence of the PAPR on the power emitted by the LPA (Linear Power Amplifier). The optimization criterion of the power loading algorithm is maximum bit rate for given SER (Symbol Error Ratio), although other criteria can be selected, such as reducing the BER (Bit Error Ratio) or SER for a given bit rate or reducing the transmitted power for a given bit rate. This paper is a continuation of "Impact of Linear Power Amplifier on Power Loading of OFDM, Part I: Principles" [4].
