Abstract
This article reviews the authors' achievements in the field of impinging jet absorbers with and without chemical reaction. The major conclusions of the investigations indicated that such absorbers exhibit the highest values for the mass transfer coefficients, and that such devices equipped with Caldyn CSL nozzles are a more attractive option than conventional absorbers.
