Implementation of a novel self-heterodyne filtering method by wavelength shift keying modulation for optical CDMA

Abstract

We propose and implement a new method of optical CDMA based on self-heterodyne filtering. Unlike most CDMA systems no spectrum spreading is required, thus enabling long- reach transmission capability.
