Abstract

Dynamic instability appears to be inherent to the tuned-circuit levitating systems, and causes oscillations of the suspended object. This mode of electromechanical oscillation is difficult to analyze since the investigated systems are non-linear and also non-autonomous. Nevertheless, a simple and economical numerical simulation of tuned-circuit levitators was obtained by employing the averaging method.
